Using ICT for Teaching and Learning



Information & Communication Technology curriculum


Information and Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum is offered to Secondary 1 and 2 Express, Normal and Normal Academic students. This ICT curriculum is integrated with Applied Learning Programme (ALP) as such students are given the opportunity and platform to learn and apply the skills learnt in context and in the process nurturing them to become critical thinkers and self-directed learners. 

The ICT components equip the students at lower secondary level with Microsoft Office skills, Research Skills and Social Networking Knowledge.  Modules focusing on using Google Apps (Google Doc, Google Spreadsheet, Google Slides and Google Site) including creating gmail accounts and collaborating with fellow-classmates and teachers, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint are covered at lower secondary level. Sec One students are also introduced to Infographics and PowToons to create their presentations.
