Northland celebrates Hari Raya Aidilfitri31-May-2019 (Fri)
Northland celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri on the last day of school, 31 June. The Malay Unit put up a musical skit which emphasised the importance of preserving our tradition, just like the popular Malay proverb, ‘Hidup dikandung adat, mati dikandung tanah’. The skit weaved in entertaining performances such as Dikir Barat as well as an amazing performance by our Malay Dancers. Click on this LINK for more information.
Northland Secondary School Anti-Drug Week30-May-2019 (Thu)
This week commemorates Northland’s Anti-Drug Week. During the week, Northstars learnt more about the harmful effects of drugs, their consequences and how they hurt those around them. Bestowment Ceremony - Pipe Band29-May-2019 (Wed)
The Pipe Band will be participating in the Southeast Asian Pipe Band Championships on 1st and 2nd June. The Championships is a competitive pipe band event held in Singapore. Student Leaders' Investiture6-May-2019 (Mon)
3 May 2019 was a memorable day for our student leaders as we not only celebrate the newly-appointed leaders, but also honour the contribution and service of our outgoing leaders. It is with greatest hope that the newly-appointed batch of leaders continue the legacy of their predecessors and soar together, as the ‘Dream Team’ to bring Northland to greater heights. Our school held our Speech and Prize-Giving Day on 26 April 2019. This year, our theme is ‘Forge’, which encapsulates the spirit of our Northstars striving ahead on their charted "True North" journey to become Learners who Share, Citizens who Care, and Leaders who Dare, guided by our staff's conviction of Nurturing Character and Inspiring Learning. Shooting for the Stars with our Dads11-Apr-2019 (Thu)
On 6 April, the Dads of our Parent Support Group (PSG) organised their 4th edition of the popular Futsal Wars. This event, which is annually organised by the Dads, is also one of the X-press Sports Competitions of our Learning for Life Programme (LLP). For more information click on this LINK.

Northland Overseas VIA (NOVIA) is a signature school programme where the entire cohort of Secondary 3 students is given the opportunity to serve the Asian community. SPARCLE 1 - Sec 2 Camp Responsibility12-Mar-2019 (Tue)
In our Camp Responsibility, students were exposed to nature, taking part in high elements and water activities. They also learnt camp craft and how to build their own tents. During SPARCLE Week, our secondary one Northstars went through the Navigating Success in Subjects (N.S.S) Trail. The objectives of the trail are to enable our secondary one students to develop their confidence and skills in creative problem solving, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. SPARCLE 1 - Sec 1 Camp Respect12-Mar-2019 (Tue)
During SPARCLE Week, our secondary 1 students were engaged in fun activities that helped them understand how the various subjects play a part in their every-day lives.
