ACE Programme
The Affiliation, Character and Engagement or ACE Programme is a weekly interest-based engagement programme for lower secondary students who would like to pursue their interest, develop their talents and creativity through fun and exciting activities after school. The school engages professional coaches from SportsSG as well our own dedicated teachers to guide and mentor participants in the ACE programme. Activities offered this year are as follows:
1. Baking
Our ACE bakers develop their talents and creativity by learning how to bake delicious pastries and sweet bakes. They also had the opportunity to learn from the experts during a learning journey to At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy. ACE bakers also took part in our very own Northland MasterChef Challenge and bake sweet treats for teachers during the Teacher’s Day Celebrations. |
2. Athletics
Our ACE runners develop their fitness and resilience through weekly training sessions conducted by coaches from SportsSG. This year, our ACE runners had the opportunity to compete in Club Zoom’s Kids’ Athletics Meet held at the Home of Athletics in Kallang. They also contributed to the success of the event by assisting in the setting-up and officiating duties. |
3. Speak-takraw/Futsal
Our ACE takraw and futsal boys develop teamwork and discipline through weekly training sessions conducted by coaches from SportsSG. Our boys also contributed to the school through VIA activities such as designing a mural for the Nebula Student Centre. |
